New Designers 2019

Since I finished my final year, I had opportunities to exhibit my work and build network with various styles of people.

At first, I exhibited my work at School of Jewellery as a Graduated show. Everyone who was going to be graduated worked all together to build the show up. It was lovely time to do.

Later on, I went to London to prepare and to build up for our exhibition.

I met lots of people who were presses, judges, students, tutors, people from companies, etc… It was amazing and worthy to attend the show.

My work, The Heart Beetle, and I were at Birmingham City University stand
Later on, I got selected to exhibit at International Jewellery London in September and also to be able to do catwalk at the show.
‘J20 stand’ I will not forget about it because we got the best stand at the New Designers.

Thoughts!

Thoughts!

I am interested in Jewellery and love jewellery. I also love fashion because they are very closely connected. I would say as a family? born to be together.

I just finished university as a graduated jewellery designer. I have been thinking about what I really want to be in the future, how I can approach the jewellery industry to be a jewellery designer, and also how I will be enjoying my life as a jewellery designer.

Many thoughts..thoughts… I am seeking advice from various types of people. Sharing my thoughts is always right.

Recently I have been doing an internship at Vipa Design in Melton mowbray, UK. I made friends who are working for the company and also who have good connections with Vipa Design. It is really important to get out of my bed and do anything to enjoy because no one knows where a chance can come to you.

I have talked to the people and got advice from them. Firstly, I should believe myself to make my dream come true. Secondly, I do not give up my aim whatever happens. Finally, I need to show my passion of jewellery because I strongly want to be a jewellery designer in the future.

I will start blogging here to share what I have learnt, found and got any information of jewellery and fashion with my thoughts, of course!

Any feedback I would like to take 🙂 Thank you for taking your time.

Travelling to A.E Wards & Son in London

Sometimes I need to refresh my mind. Today I have been to London to have a look around jewellery stores and ended up in A.E Wards & Son where you can buy various types of gemstones.

For my commercial products, I would like to see gemstones in person and figured out which stones or what sizes of the stones would be good for my design.

I enjoyed having a look around and talked about myself and the New Designers in London. Then I made a new friend at the shop.

It was nice to share anything with people and have contact details each other.

From university and my complex thinking, I am glad to refresh my mind and it helps me feeling much better.

Sometimes I need 🙂

Amazing News getting Awards by The William Dudley Trust

For the final degree module and new designers, I have been selected by The William Dudley Trust, which I got supported financially to prepare my final project and attend the New Designers in June. It was amazing news and I was so happy that I can explain my work in person on my graduation show.

As I am ready I would like to send my work and a short description to The william Dudly Trust.

My Final Project

I am nervous, excited, sad, happy, motivated, joyful, stressed, positive or negative…etc What should I say!

As the final-year student at the School of Jewellery, my feelings are recently up and down a lot! I am going to miss the time that I have been staying in the UK.

I am interested in the Ancient Egyptian Art and History which I have been inspired by and have no idea how all the pieces going to be together nicely.

I will keep updating the process once I have the pieces.

Travelling in Italy for holidays

For my Easter holiday, I spend 5 days in Italy. I had journeyed from Birmingham to London Victoria Station, London Stansted Airport, and Lamezia Airport in Italy. The flight was only for 2-3 hours. But I spent 13hours to get to Italy.

In London Airport…. waiting for the gate..

In Joppolo where is really quiet, beautiful, and peaceful place. There were not lots of visitors at the time. But, in the summer, it must be crowded. I really like different shapes of cactus in the areas.

I had Onion gelato in the shop because the owner recommended it. But it was just onion and sweet.
